How We Help
The Borland Groover Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for every person affected by colon cancer and we’ve established enduring healthcare solutions.
We have served our community since 2008 by fostering awareness, offering education, and providing preventative screenings for people who are underinsured. Our outreach efforts have greatly improved public health and patient outcomes in our region.

March To Get Screened
JOIN US ON MARCH 31 2024
Join us for Jacksonville’s biggest digestive health fundraiser! The last Sunday of March the Borland Groover Foundation hosts an event (5k race + 1mile fun run/walk) to support conversation and education around colon cancer and your participation plays an important role in enhancing the quality of life for those diagnosed with this challenging disease. This family event is filled with fun activities, live music, and delicious food. We can’t wait to see you there!

We are honored to host Jacksonville Gut Club’s Annual Symposium, created to educate physicians on new approaches and technological advancements in digestive health. A half-day series of interactive lectures offers attendees an opportunity to understand the experience of patients diagnosed with colon cancer and the treatment options available to them. This course offers CME and CEU credits.
